Viva con agua

At Teabet, sustainability and cooperation with our partners are at the heart of our commitment. We recognize that, although we live in a privileged society, access to basic needs such as clean water and sanitation remains a luxury for many people around the world. Aware of this reality, we have decided to act so that these essential resources are no longer privileges, but rights accessible to all.

We only work with suppliers who share our values and are involved in projects that have a positive impact. Through these collaborations, we support initiatives such as Viva con Agua, a project focused on improving access to drinking water and hygiene. One of their main projects, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), involves building wells to provide drinking water while educating local communities on the importance of hygiene to prevent disease. The water crisis has highlighted how crucial these elements are for public health.

Children play a central role in spreading these hygiene practices within communities. Introduced to these concepts at school, they become vectors of change, passing on this information to their families, including older generations. This process significantly reduces the risk of disease, while strengthening community cohesion through activities such as music, art and sports.

Women, in particular, are receiving special attention as they have specific needs, especially regarding menstrual hygiene. These efforts aim to reduce infections and improve their quality of life.

Our suppliers actively support projects such as those in India, in the drought-prone regions of Bundelkhand and flood-prone Madhubani. Each of these regions requires an approach tailored to its specific challenges, and our suppliers contribute dedicatedly to these initiatives.

These projects do more than just provide infrastructure: they also aim to empower communities by providing them with the skills to maintain these resources, ensuring long-term independence. We are proud to be part of this positive change that is restoring hope and dignity to those in need.
